NEBOSH IGC (new syllabus)

Dear Students

Start studying your new syllabus NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) .

  • The full course is available to study online and you can enroll at any time.

  • Classroom courses are available from 2020 with a pilot course being run in London this year. If you have already enrolled in old syllabus then must remember it that your exam will be also according to old syllabus.

  • Study materials are available to purchase now, with revision guides coming soon on RRC website.

What's Changed?

The course is now two units (IG1 & IG2). The content has been restructured, with some new content and some of the previous content used.
As you know that in previous syllabus there were three papers.
1.    IGC 1 – which was written exam of 100 marks in which 45 marks was passing marks.
2.    IGC 2 – same as IGC 1
3.    IGC 3 – practical assignment in which we had to submit a repart.

The major change is with the assessment where there is now only one exam and one practical assessment. The assessment structure is:
  • Unit IG1 is examined by a formal 2 hour exam (very similar to IGC1)
  • Unit IG2 is assessed by a practical assessment which should take around 3 hours to complete (this is a longer assessment than the previous GC3) remember you have to complete it in your class room within 3hrs.
